Language Register

Different magazines will use different language styles, each magazine try's to suit there readers needs, they try to relate it to what the image is showing us. Some magazines will use formal language like 'Q magazine' and others will use slang language like 'NME' the terminology used for each different magazine will always vary. In my magazine I will use a general language with up to date wording so that it appeals to my target market and suits my users to make it look aesthetically pleasing and easy to read and understand.

For example....
NME, this magazine uses quite everyday slang language to 'fit' in with the age group of between 16-24 years of age, it gives information about the newest and latest music, and is one of the best selling music magazines that's on our shelves.
